Paul Mordoff handles all booking arrangements for singing telegrams, balloon deliveries, birthday parties, corporate events and for bookings. Other performers including caricature artists, face painters, magicians, clowns, stilt walkers, jugglers and more can also be arranged. Just tell Paul what you are looking for and he will pull from the best talent available and work within your budget. Mr. Bungles, balloon deliveries, and many performers are available any day of the week. Please feel free to call anytime Monday through Friday between 9:00AM and 6:00PM for arrangements.

The company, Pongo the Clown, LLC, is based in CT. The performer personally works throughout Southern Connecticut and in New York State on a regular basis with hundreds of performances a year. Special out of state or long distance bookings are possible with the price based on the traveling distance. Other performers who work through the company cover other areas in CT.

Rates: There are many variables that are involved with the charges. Some of these include the location and travel distance, number of children, amount of time booked and the additional options that are selected. Traditional, average size birthday parties with Mr. Bungles start at $225.00 for an hour or $325.00 for an hour and a half for local parties. Some of the options you can add to make the party even more fun range from pre-making balloons to allow more active time at the party, bubble parties, parachute parties, or adding other performers. Charges for other performers vary depending on the time, location and performers available. If you are planning a large event and need multiple performers, the company will work within your budget to find the best people available. There is also a discount when booking multiple hours. The rate quoted will be specific to the entertainer provided and will include all costs for supplies and travel associated with the party, balloon delivery or event.

Gratuity for any performer is optional.

When to book: Many people who have seen the comic talents of Mr. Bungles will book 8 weeks to a year in advance so they can get their first choice for the date and time. Last minute bookings are also possible depending on location and time of event. Even if your event is one day away, it may be possible that there is a gap in the schedule and Paul Mordoff can personally perform or pull from his network of other talented artists to make sure you have a successful event. Singing telegrams, gorilla grams and balloon deliveries are often booked within days of the event or up to a year in advance.

Deposit: After all of the details are confirmed by phone or email, a 50% deposit is due within 4 days of confirmation. The balance is due on the date of the show or before, depending on the situation. You can use a credit card, check or cash. Checks are made out to Pongo The Clown, LLC and mailed to:

Please make sure that you include the date of your party on the check or enclose a note. Directions can be mailed, e-mailed or provided over the phone.

The balance is due in cash or by check the day of the event or before depending on the event and performers hired. Advance payment by credit card is also possible.

Paying by Credit Card: Now you can pay by credit card through Pay Pal for singing telegrams, balloon deliveries, and for all performances. Pay Pal accepts your credit card information on a secure, encrypted site and confirms your order electronically through e-mail. If you want to pay through Pay Pal, Paul Mordoff will send you a link which is the easiest way to set up an account. If you already have an account, just send the proper payment to pmordoff@juno.com and be sure to add the date to the message so the payment will be credited properly. You will get a confirmed e-mail from Pay Pal and from Pongo The Clown Party Talent.

If you don�t have a password, you will need to set up a quick file on a secured link which includes your name, address, e-mail address and credit card information. This information is electronically scrambled to protect your personal information and privacy.

Once you have the file set up, you can use Pay Pal to purchase products on thousands of sites on the web or to pay bills on-line.

Follow all the simple prompts and you will receive a confirmation e-mail shortly after completing the process.

After completing information, you should be transferred back to the Pongo the Clown site.

Cancellation Policy: All dates are considered definite at the time of phone or email confirmation. If you are not sure of your plans you can ask to "hold" a time for a day or two while you confirm details. Once a time and date is booked, all other jobs that come in will be refused or planned around your party. Jobs are turned down every day due to prior commitments. In the case of extreme emergencies (child in emergency room, etc.), special arrangements will be made to reschedule without penalty or loss of deposit. Rain: If you are planning an outdoor event, please have a back up plan for rain. This could be a tent, outdoor covered pavilion, or indoor location. All events are considered to be definite and are on rain or shine unless specific arrangements are made at the time of booking. If a rain date is necessary, additional financial arrangements may be made to reserve two dates at the initial booking. Snow: In the rare case of a snow or ice storm forcing cancellation or postponement, your event will be rescheduled or cancelled without any financial penalty.
